POLICE, the eyeware and sunwear brand of the De Rigo Group, are celebrating their 30th anniversary with the release of 'LOOK BEYOND', a book of artistic photographs featuring their designs of the last three decades.
Police are also releasing Special Edition sunglasses in conjunction with the book. Proceeds from book and glasses are going towards the support of the organisation 'Doctors without Borders', (MEDECIN SANS FRONTIERES) and their work among malnourished children in Africa's sahel.
The new eyewear, available in silver or gold frames, is based around the Police Aviator style, with leather detailing and the winged Police logo. You can find them at Harvey Nichols from April this year.
The book features the work of Giovanni Gastel, and contains a collection of portraits of personalities from the fields of music, sport, show business and art. The sitters add comments of their own on the concept of 'Looking Beyond'. This is a beautiful book, supporting an important cause.
Doctors without Borders accept donations directly too. But why not own a treasurable object while contributing to their mission?
